此题我认为DE都可以，但正确答案只有E
OG说D的错误原因是：If the accelerators can be used for multiple experiments, then it is reasonable to expect more
articles related to them, not fewer.

我很困惑，既然‘ it is reasonable to expect more articles related to them, not fewer’ 那不就刚好证明记者的assumption(the low number of
articles was due to the decline in availability of particle accelerators)是错误的了吗？

我觉得这道题的正确理解方式是这样的 根据CR bible 里对于 CE weaken 的理解 正确的答案可以有五种情况 1. alternate cause 2. cause occurs, effect doesn't occur 3. effect occur, cause doesn't occur 4. reverse relationship 5. 是关于data的跟这道题无关。 很多人在 B 和 D 上confused 应为觉得 effect occur 但是 cause 确不是题目形容的那样可以用来削弱 在这道题上这是个误解。 题目给的cause 是 “the decline in availability of particle accelerators" (B) 和 （D）的形容并不是说cause 没有occur 只是说它的影响没我们想象的那么多 但是事实上不管多少太partical accelerator out of service 都证明了 "decline in availability" 真正符合答案的只有 (E) 给出的 alternative cause.

个人之见，题干结论说articles的减少是因为粒子加速器的availability的下降。

那我认为加速器的availability可以受好几个因素影响，可以是B的平均等候时间，D的共享模式或是其他可能的因素。
BD单单提出availability的一个影响因素是不足以否决结论availability的下降的
所以删去 B，D

这题我也不太明白。只是看到Ron说不能攻击题干里的事实，BD都是做的这件事。

原文说 去年关于粒子加速器的文章少于以往年份 因为粒子器少了 所以这可能是文章少的原因 问反驳 A去年提交的文章都发表了 原文没说此性质内容 B科学家等待粒子器的时间变多了 如果您足够客观那么此选项肯定是无关 因原文根本就没提此性质的内容啊 除非加入自己的想法 C杂志数量。。。 D粒子加速器使用次数 原文也无此内容 E文章发表要求严格 原文所提文章发表数有关 留着 用这种客观的方法很容易就能排除大多无关选项 关键是客观加上读选项的整体意思

刚做了这道题，我选了B。。
我的理解是这样的，这种果因型的问题最佳答案就是那个另一个因的选项，就比如考试没考好，被妈妈说，就是因为你不好好学习才没考好的！要反驳妈妈的话，最好的方法就是说，考试那天我拉肚子了，而不是一直在反驳说，我好好学习了啊！我上课好好听了啊！

替大牛回答下楼上的问题，虽然可能过期了。我觉得做这类现象原因的题时，不需要绕很多弯子，一个现象，一个推论，怎样才能更好的削弱呢，就是提出另一个理由，B和D的问题是一样的，都能得出写出来的文章不一定少，但到最后的目标“发表的文章减少”还有一步呢，就是说没有提出完整的理由，其实og也是这么说的，解释里的fewer指的是发表的文章。对于E来说就很明显了，不管其它事情怎么变，只要E成立，则题干中的推论就不成立
