第一题第一次做选C,然后看答案是E, 后来终于说服自己选E, 结果第二次做答案给的又是C, 不过个人还是倾向与E, 可否请NN帮忙确定下答案呢?
第二题做是做对了, 可就不是非常清楚其他选项为什么错, 而且也不能保证第二次会对...所以可不可以帮忙分析下呢? 万分感谢!!

第一题那个E
我怎么觉得这个植物不管是不是处于生长期
要想在thrive in soil with high concentrations of metals that are toxic to most other plants的话
只要它还在这个有毒的土地上the concentration of histidine就不能decline呢
E有些weaken
还是不确定 我偏向C
有没有高人发表高见

第二题 我错了，还是A对了，看来括号里面出现的数量关系不能忽略不看啊，这是个地地道道的陷阱

第一题E 中GROW你最好不要单独理解成 长，他是 存活，生长的意思。growing old 这个说法你听说过吧。英文的思维是衰老也是grow的一部分。

第二题a选择肯定是错的，正好反了。
gwd不都是网上当下来的么，以讹传讹的事情多了，你不能迷信所谓的答案。

对于A
我觉得可以这么理解 虽然1900年不管是 heavy rainfall 还是moderate rainfall  light rainfall
论下雨次数是比1910年少
但这并不意味着总量会少
因为总量还会受每次降雨量的影响
可以是1900年heavyrain每次降雨量是1910年的好几倍
那这样即使次数少几次
但总量还是多很多的

想了一下
BC所说the number of days with some rainfall, but no more than two inches=number of（light rainfall day+moderate rainfall day）
题设明确说了括号里的部分是1900<1910
所以B C的等于或者大于就错误
E 题设说总量1900比1910多 一个月的天数是一样的
所以他们各自的 the average amount of rainfall per month 也应该是跟总量的大小想一致的
即1900比1910多
D 数学问题total number of inches=天数×每天下的单位inches数
题设说天数（1900）<天数(1910)
每天下的单位inches数变化范围是1<X=<2
用数学知识 即使是二者天数一样 一个取1一个取2的时候
都不能做到 in 1990 was more than twice what it had been in 1910
更何况1990的天数还比1910少 1还是取不到的单位inches
所以二者之间的差距在2倍以内

第一题E也可以接受的啊, 题干中说the herb’s high histidine production is what allows it to grow in metal-rich soils. 那如果反过来想, 如果herb成熟了就是不再长了, 它的histidine就会下降也可以解释啊...
第二题的答案是A额....
