- 2. Advertisement syllable and pausation:
There are two main factors involved in advertisement that will influence audience: the speed of syllable pronunciation and the speed of pausation between each word. And how these two factors affect audience.
There are two scholars: Macg and Moore... Macg says that adverts should be read with faster syllable, as this will cause audience to focus more on the advertisement. Moore said adverts should be read with slower syllable, as this gives people more time to absorb information and reading it faster will cause lost opportunity and less motivation, as the speed will cause audience to perceive listening as a difficult task.
Researchers conducted experiment and found that Normal Syllable and Normal pausation cause greatest effect. Pausation has no great effect. But then they also said that longer pausation allows more time to absorb information (this part confused me).

Basically talks about how when customers do food sampling in a store, whether the ambience noise of surrounding will affect tasting experience.

Experiment results show that sounds actually will help sales if the tasting experience is generally positive (they will enjoy the atmosphere and not be accurate about the taste and then purchase product by mistake). However, if the sampling experience is negative, ambience sounds tend to cause negative effect.
