Good Day,
We would like to offer some information for your comparison of Brandeis University's MSF program and Lehigh University's MSAF program.
Length of Study
Lehigh: This is a 30 credit program. It can take two years depending on the prerequisites that are completed before starting the core course work. Please see the website here to review the prerequisite requirements: http://cbe.lehigh.edu/msaf/info/prerequisites
Brandeis: This is a 44 credit program. It can take 16 months.
Curriculum
Lehigh: It's a combination of our three colleges: College of Business & Economics, College of Arts & Sciences, P.C. Rossin College of Engineering. The course work is highly intense and rigorous, but prepares our students to face real world situations in the financial industry. There is also three certificate programs available to candidates in the MSAF Program. Certificate Programs are available in Data Science & Financial Analytics, Quantitative Risk Management or Financial Operations Research by completing an additional two courses for a total of 36 credit hours. These Certificate Programs enhance the student's skill sets allowing them to explore additional course work.
Bradneis: Focuses on financial and quantitative skills with an also intense curriculum set.
Employment Status
Lehigh: A good percentage of our students (both domestic and international) find employment after graduation. Employers love our students and come on campus to seek out our students. A few companies that have picked up our qualified graduates are; Goldman Sachs, Convexity Capital, BNY Mellon, EY, Credit Suisse, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Fannie Mae, State Street, Alpha Capital Holdings, Inc., Fitzroy Capital Management, PrivCo Media, LLC., KPMG LLP, Fidessa and many others. Our graduates have expanded well past the Lehigh Valley. They have landed positions in Philadelphia, New York, Pittsburgh, Florida, Boston, Delaware, in the United Kingdom, in a variety of cities in China and many more. Currently the salary range is between $70-80K.

Please note, that this does not exclusively list students from their MSF program. These statistics are based off of the entire Brandeis International Business school.
Teaching Staff
Lehigh: Our faculty staff is composed of professors from all three of the colleges that combined to make up this degree program. Each are specialists in their retrospective fields and continue to research their specialties here at Lehigh. Our main focus is research while also putting it to practice. Many of our faculty works along side our students to help develop their research topic interests and have different Research Assistant positions available on campus. Brandeis: Well qualified faculty at this University who are also experts in their fields.
Atmosphere
Lehigh: We strive to create an inclusive environment for our students. There are many opportunities for our graduate students to connect with other students outside of their specific programs. Before classes even begin we have all of our Masters student join us at Orientation where they are able to meet all of the graduate students who are starting in the College of Business & Economics. We have a wonderful Graduate Life Office who host many events, social groups and other activities that are open to all of our graduate students on campus. There are also many events hosted in the city of Bethlehem that our students are welcome to join in. We are continuing to make our campus inclusive and are striving toward efforts to make our students feel at home even before they step foot on campus.
Tuition
Lehigh: $1,420 per credit, about $42,000
Brandeis: $49,481 annually (according to their website)
Cost Of Living
Bethlehem: about $1,100 a month rent
Waltham: about $2,133 a month rent (according to this site)

In Bethlehem, we are only an hour outside of New York City and an hour outside of Philadelphia. This element gives you two major cities to choose for when looking for internship and job opportunities.
