i'd rather you spend 3 years focusing on developing a well-thought and tested career plan regardless where you work, than thinking about if a foreign big name carries more weight or less on your resume when applying for MBA.

you've not started working yet, don't conclude too early that "hard to say i like that job".  it's important to keep a politically correct mentality if you want to excel at your job, whatever that job is.  company pays you well and puts the ball in your hand.  it's a sense of responsibility not to drop it.  if someone starts with being indifferent from day one, things will only go negative from there since every job has its dark side.

i see a lot of potential in you.  my recommendation for you, is do a great job for 3 years and then think about your next steps.  MBA can still be your aspiration, and i'm sure you will see how things play out well if you focus on your job every day.

brokerage firm的确有可预期的career path,如果一直做下去的话,是一个可以从事的稳定选择 但也说不上喜欢。但我还是希望能有机会读个MBA换个环境啥的,所以担心纯内资的背景会不会比较困难?

You probably want to find out what's your long term career goal first.  MBA serves for the career development purpose.  Do you think you absolutely will need an MBA to help you bring your career to the next level?  Generally speaking there are only two scenarios that I think people should go for MBA: i) career changers ii) people who want to work in an industry where MBA is a MUST to promote to higher level positions.  and in either case, the candidate should be very well aware of his/her career development plan after MBA.

Based on your information, i'd root for the brokerage firm's job.  my rationales are,
1. if you go to a bank's middle-office job, what kind of things you will be researching on and what type of exposure you will get?  i hardly see the career development path comparable to the brokerage firm's position
2. if you later on discover that you really want to work in front-office, then going to middle-office today is like forcing yourself into a very difficult situation as a career changer that must go for MBA in 3 years (think about the $200K expense and 2 years time opportunity cost)
3. at a bank, especially a foreign bank, it's next to impossible to move from back/middle office to front office, but it's much easier the other way around

don't create yourself a lot of headaches and troubles and frustration and regrets for the next 3 years.  sign the offer of the brokerage firm and live a happy and successful life please.

good luck in everything!
