尝试分析↓
① so指代前面一句话：became the political cause… 语意比较↓
More so because 因为…所以更成为一个新时代的原因
More for the reason 更多是因为…（但是前面两句话没有比较出谁更重要（like会理解成两个一样）后面直接说更是因为...突兀语意不合逻辑）× BC
② E run-on 两句话缺连词
③ D：reason 后面连词是that 两个从句混用×
