TOEFL is a test developed by the Educational Testing Service. A minimum cumulative score of 250 on the computer-based version of the test, 600 on the paper-based version, or 71 on the web-based version is required by the Graduate School, and departments often set a higher standard.

Berkeley的iBT要求：(http://www.grad.berkeley.edu/admissions/admis_require.shtml)

For purposes of admission, your most recent score must be at least 570 for the paper-and-pencil test or at least 230 for the computer-based test, or at least 68 for the Internet-based test (iBT). Please contact individual academic departments for more information, as they may choose to require a higher score.

真的有人用不到100，甚至不到90的iBT分数来申请这些学校吗？
似乎看到过台湾学生的总结，用80多分的iBT申请到Carnegie Mellon University的理工专业。
是不是对于理工学科，iBT过线后，分数差异的影响就很小了呢？

GPA一般比IBT更重要，通常来说，GPA是越高越好，IBT大都过线就好，但有些学校可能也喜欢T也高分，这就难说了，就算一个学校，不同教授也可能偏好不同。

如果我的iBT只有80分，但是要申请几个声誉很好，iBT分数线却只有80甚至更低，没有单科要求的理工类项目，是否还要重考呢？
或者说，可以带着即便考不到100分也无所谓，the more, the better，的态度重考？
前提：这些项目基本由教授决定录取，根据被录取的学长的说法，GRE和TOEFL可能不是很重要。所以我觉得可能过了线就可以了。
大家怎么看呢？
