118. Some people enjoy change, and they look forward to new experiences. Others like their lives to stay the same, and they do not change their usual habits. Compare these two approaches to life. Which approach do you prefer? Explain why.

Nowadays, more and more people prefer to seek new experience and changes because they will enable us to enrich our knowledge as well as meet more friends However, there are still certain percent people care for stay the same and keep their own habits because they will make a convenient life for us. As far as I concern, I would prefer to seek the new experiences and changes.

The essential for my propensity is that new experiences and changes will not only enrich our knowledge, but also broaden our horizon. New experiences and changes means that we should meet a variety of unfamiliar things. At this time, we should try our utmost to adapt them and many new skills will be obtained during these courses. For instance, I like tasting coffee before, but when I begin to drink tea, I start to learn all kinds of teas, including the proper water temperatures for different kinds of teas and various processes of making teas. During the learning, I got much knowledge that I never heard before.

Another reason can be seen by everyone is that the new experiences and changes enable us to meet more friends. As we know, different people have different social groups because of their interests. In the university, there are a great number of groups and organizations, such as chess club, dancing club, debating club and so on. We can choose different clubs according our interests. For instance, some of my classmates like playing chess, but I do not care for that because of its complicated rules. Later, influenced by classmates, I begin to like chess and meet many chess players in the club, and then we become close friends.

To sum up, although there are some merits belong to staying the same place, I deem that the advantages of seeking new experience and changes are more obvious, such as enrich our knowledge, broaden our horizon and meet more friends. So I strongly believe we should feel more experience and changes.
