[求助]两年半IT工作经验是否达到TOP咨询要求呢

按照计划，等到08年就两年半工作经验，公司是国内发展的世界500强IT制造，按照这种背景，如果顺利进入商学院毕业后就30岁。

这样能否达到TOP咨询公司的考虑范畴呢，听说年龄是很大的优势，所以希望尽快转行进入咨询，工作经历是否过弱。

MBA在国内读TOP的，就不具体说哪家了。

请有经验或者相关信息的朋友给予指点。

To be honest, you definitely have chances, as same as tons of people with samiliar background. But the likelihood of getting in top strategy house is very little for you.

Vert small part of the decision is based on your background...in order to get into the top consulting firm, you have to be very strong in the following points:

1) inter-personal communication

2) articulation of ideas

3) logical and structural thinking

4) quick and accurate on numbers

5) broad coverage of business areas (industries, functions)

6) curiosity to new things and capability of learning them quickly

7) (if possible) potential of leadership

it's not much to do with background. it is also less to do with the interview skills, interview is just a way to show your strength. If you don't have them, compared with other candidates, you cannot fake it...

not necessary, it could be any knowledge/experience you accumulated during/before MBA

As I know, GPA of Term 1 & 2 is also very very very important.
