Any ideas on Oliver Wyman in APAC?

Hi folks,

Nice to 'meet' you all. I've just started out my job as a head hunter focusing in management consultancy and there're just zillion tons of things which I'd need to fill my mind with, hope you can help me out!


So basically, I was told that Oliver Wyman has closed their business in mainland China a couple of years ago. What was the reason behind that? and how is the brand being recognised in APAC area?




Also, I found that lots of clients do not appreciate candidates from Big 4 consultancies.. why is that the case?

think u can do your own research. if a big firm backs out from china, it must be a big news, hence, must be published. try google!!!

i googled before I make this post with a hope of something insightful. But yeah, google didn't help much on this. Whatever, I figured out from others.

Anyway, give me a shout, people, if you would like a consulting career..

they closed down shanghai's office but there's another one in Beijing.. bit of downsizing I assume.
