Thus Alessandra conforms more closely to the anthropologist's  notion that personal motivation is embedded in a social context.  Indeed, one could argue that Alessandra did not distinguish her personhood from that of her sons.  

请教这句如何理解 "Indeed, 和 argue", Indeed 表示让步语气吗？ argue 是主张还争论？ （如果是主张， 就是说同意that从句后的内容， 如果是争论， 就是反对从句后的内容。
