如果jeongwen的推荐信不错，可以拿wustl保底。wustl这几年挺喜欢招国内的本科生的，你硬件很棒，肯定符合他们的要求。可以试试berkeley，有从国内直接招人的传统，而且这些人做的都很好。unc比较managerial,而且似乎招的中国人不多。

GPA比较低。申请marketing好学校phd的每年每个program估计60人左右，牛的可能会上100，估计里面80%的人都比你GPA高。3.8,3.9的都不新鲜。你GMAT不错，不过过了初审之后就不看GMAT了。你肯定能过初审，后面就看运气了。

u may wnat to concentrate on ECON , I think u can be admitted by decent school. yet, I think econ phd only accept GRE.why do u take GMAT? U can also try to apply for finance phd

LZ is in China now. 3.6 is not bad, I guess.

"not bad" is not enough to apply top marketing phd programs. LZ has to compete with Indian guys from IIT and IIM with excellent GPAs if she wants to get in a decent program. LZ should try to have a GPA > 3.8 for top 20 programs.

The number of indian applicants for marketing phd is much smaller recently. I would say 3.6 with either pku or thu bachelor is good enough for top 20 school.

现在北大本科都这么积极啊，  why choose marketing instead of other options.
