Personally, as a college student, I enjoy the convenience of communication with my professors or bosses, the quick and immediate ways for entertainments, and the quick touch with international news. All of those mentioned, benefits from Internet. So I agree that the Internet provides people with a lot of valuable information.

With Internet, people can reach more information for their work. Compared with the old ways to get useful news, such as newspapers, radio, TV or letters, the information served by Internet is more complete and better in keeping in pace of time. For example, when you want to know the news for the requirements' of a company, or whether they are recruiting, the information you get from an paper are quickly out of date, but if you search the Internet for their official web, the information is surely to be accurate and in time. What's more you can get the detailed information about the company at the same time.

With Internet, people today can learn more about the international news. Instead of waiting the newspaper delivered to your house, one can almost get to know what has happened or is happening on the opposite side of the earth. There are a lot of news webs, and some personal pages reports about the important events. For example, if you feel that your house moves slowly, then you can know whether it is a move of land/earthquake immediately from the report on-line.

With Internet, people today can choose more ways for recreation. There are not only movies or pictures on-line, but also information about the fantastic partys, amazing outdoor programs, celebrits' wedding and so on. At the same time, we can know more about the life of others, and make our own life interesting. My little sister are so crazy about find concerts form the Internet, and make an appointment with her friend to gather.
