Partially agree on the bro's comment upstair. Opportunity cost is definitely a very important factor to consider. However, the decision also depends how big benefit that a top MBA can bring to you. MBA is really an investment, both on your money and time. It is a risky investment and sometimes high risk means high return. Again, I think there is no general answer about your question. You have to figure out what you care about most, what you expect from MBA and what is your post MBA goal first before making the big decision.
I agree it depends on your career goal. For example: if you want to work in Tech Consulting firm, then an MBA won't give you any advantage; but if you'd like to join MC or IB firm, a top MBA is almost a must.
