【提问】请教逻辑题中against的用法！谢谢！

一：关于evidence against的解释，以前一直以为是解释为：反对某某的证据。例如evidenc against sb的意思就是“反对某某，指证某某的证据”

但今天看到OG上一道IR题目的解释，我又迷惑了：Professor A would likely disagree with the first statement and Professor B would take the second statement to present evidence against the first.

按照题目的理解是B的观点应该是支持the first的，也就是说这个evidence against不能是理解成反对，而应该理解成为“支持，support”

是不是说我理解一直以来都说错的？这个against根本就没有实际意义，只是与evidence作为搭配使用的？

求问against是（反对）的意思？还是（对于）的意思？还是要看情况？求牛人解答一下。

下面一题的against是反对的意思....

embargo against X是固定用法：对于X的禁运

as evidence against the director’s claim：反对director的claim的证据。

你再用against的时候可以想象一下疑似杨幂酒后被奸的那段视频里或者李公子视频大作里的美女们。against。。。体会一下。
