我人为A 并没有weaken the plausibility of the advertiser’s conclusion ( consumers benefit economically from advertising.),因为CONSUMER 确实 BENEFIT FROM( the prices per copy of their publications much lower than would otherwise be possible. )。除非能肯定ADVERTISER 如果不打广告会使产品的价格低很多,那么A成立。但是存在可能不打广告,价格也很高(用其他的促销方式),所以A 不对。


E 指出ADVERTISER 单方面说明给消费者的利益,而没有看到消费者实际将MONEY 付在产品中了,来反对 ADVERTISER。所以 E正确。

楼主可能对提问的理解有些问题“哪一项最准确的描述了消费者如何反驳广告者?”,A说消费者靠提出一些东西来反驳广告人,而A提出的这些东西呢确实weaken the plansibility of the advertiser's conclusion,因此A正确。E提出消费者是靠指出广告者太窄的限制了对广告效应的讨论,与原文不符。
