reconciles the seeming discrepancy described above，题目问的是什么？问的是如何能解释上面逻辑的矛盾。上面的逻辑怎么矛盾了？文章说：florida基本上都是老人居住，但是当地的商店却又好多卖infant,儿童用的东西的。这是为啥呢？如果都是老人住，卖儿童东西又没人买，它卖那干啥，让你解释理由。这样的resolve paradox的题目正确选项一般都是涉及到一个文章中没提到的它因，有了这个原因paradox就迎刃而解了。
D选项说：florida的老人一年要迎接他们的孙子孙女们几周的来访。所以说才有卖儿童用品的店，因为儿童们会经常来florida拜访他们的爷爷奶奶嘛

看懂题目：
老人的社区基本没儿童，但却有很多儿童设施，为啥？
给老人孙子来玩用的。
