这两个选项有本质区别吗？都是在说tuition，为什么答案给C？

兄台，你题目来源编号不写，连问题都不写。。很难跟你讨论啊。。

假设这个题目问的是explain the situation in C university
结论是 enrollment 下降，tuition 持平

C 选项，因为是pre-student tuition在增加，不会对大学的enrollment和tuition有任何影响，可以解释大学enrollment下降，但整体tuition持平的现象
相反，E选项说提高了tuition来弥补enrollment的下降。你怎么知道提高了学费后，enrollment不会下降得更厉害，从而导致总体tuition更低呢？这是简单的供求原理。所以要让E选项成为合格的解释，必须再增加一条前提，也就是tuition的提供不会进一步降低enrollment. 但这个前提在E选项是缺失的，因此E选项不能说明结论。
