   亚利桑那州立大学助理教授赵宇吉博士Prof. Yuji Zhao组建ASU MOCVD GaN Lab氮化镓光电实验室，计划招收2名PhD Student with EE Degree赴美攻读博士学位，截止日期7月底，希望有一定的Semiconductor, Nanofabrication, Device Characterization研究经验的同学发简历到yuji.zhao(在) gmail.com。赵博士毕业于加州大学圣芭芭拉分校UCSB，师从蓝光之父中村修二教授。

下面是关于导师简单介绍

Dr. Yuji Zhao is currently an Assistant Project Scientist in the Materials Department and Solid State Lighting and Energy Center (SSLEC) at University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB).  He received the Ph.D in Electrical and Computer Engineering from UCSB in 2012 after Prof. Shuji Nakamura, The Inventor of Blue LED

Dr. Zhao’s research interests include MOCVD growth, fabrication, and characterization of GaN-based materials and devices for energy efficiency and renewable energy applications (LEDs, lasers, solar cells, power transistors, etc).  He has authored/co-authored more than 50 conference and journal publications, one book chapter, and over 10 patents.  He has won Outstanding Research Award from UCSB SSLEC for a record four consecutive times (2010 to 2013).

His work on GaN energy research was recognized with a Most Cited Article of the Year Award from Applied Physics Express, an Editor’s Pick of the Year Award from Applied Physics Letters, two best paper awards from CLEO and IWN, and was featured in over 100 international news outlets with over 5 languages, including Science, Nature Photonics, Optical Society of America (OSA), Compound Semiconductors, and Yahoo.

Dr. Zhao will join Arizona State University as Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering and Materials Science this fall.
