完成duke推荐信的时候推荐人问我要不要单独写一封推荐信。因为在线推荐系统里都是一些问题。如下：
1. How long have you known the applicant? 2. Please describe the peer group to which you are comparing the applicant. (For example, others whom you know have applied to business schools or those within your organization currently mentored toward leadership positions.) (150字符以内) 3. Comment on the applicant’s interpersonal skills (effectiveness in establishing and maintaining relationships; working with supervisors, peers, and subordinates; willing to work in a team environment). 2000字符以内 4. What do you consider the applicant’s three primary talents or strengths? Please provide examples, if relevant. 5. In what areas does the applicant need improvement or growth? If you have had the opportunity to provide the applicant with constructive feedback, please provide specific examples of the feedback and the applicant’s response to it.
而duke网站上有这么一句话：
Your recommenders must complete the current recommendation forms associated with the online application—no other format of recommendation will be accepted.
是不是意味着如果在additional information里上传推荐信是违规的？必须仅仅回答question的问题。或者把以上5个问题没问到的写在word里上传到Additional info里。不过这样的话，如果每个学校都这样个性化，推荐人要烦死了。
