问一下，如果MBA supply chain方向，具体在美国做啥工作？应该语言沟通的工作不适合，那么还是production planner,或者。。。。？求教。谢谢

因为supply chain 范围很大，且我看过中国的一些招聘网站，其实并非要求MBA，如果一般么职位，除非manager. 所以我想问大家有清楚具体做啥吗，读书读出来。我认为经验和重要，说不定CPIM，CSCP,比MBA更重要去入手那些基本的职位。虽然我也准备MBA, 今年悲剧， G710 不准备再刷，准备刷T.

My background is from MSU in SCM. Basically, buyer, planner, manufacturing resource scheduler, sourcing, procurement. Anything from production to the end user u will be in charged. I have CPM and CPIM. I use to work for Lockheed Martin a defense contractor in the Bay Area for the last 6 years. So from experience stand point. You will be the gate keeper for the company to reduce cost and improve efficiency. Great communication skills is essential. Hopefully that will help u.

It really helps me. I'm the supply chain guy for several years, and I'm now the demand planner. Actually, I'm working on the cpim, and so far I have passed 3 courses. I get two MBA offers, one is msu, and the other is Bu. Per my career, I select msu. Thank you for your inputs.

我读这个问题也很关心。
不过有个疑问，buyer、planner这些职位在国内都是一些基础的职位，就算读完MBA也是还是从事这些职位？
待遇情况如何呢？

另外，以前是planner，做了很多供应链内部的项目，尤其是IT系统实施，这样的背景读完MBA还有哪些选择呢？

Buyer的工作机会比较少了，因为工作比较基础，比较少招收MBA的，很多都不在美国本土了。

Global Commodity manager / Supply manager 的工作还有一些。当然比从前也少了。

Planner的工作还是有一些的。

如果有IT系统实施背景，可以往project manager上找，应该也有。

看了nautibei的工作经历十分之丰富精彩。我在石油进口单位做进口五年了，负责进口的所有流程，从签订进口合同到清关。对于自己这个工作经验应该划在哪一块比较迷茫? 因为涉及到选校。是供应链嘛你觉得？
