Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Governments and private

companies should share their scientific discoveries with the rest of the world.

Nowadays, many developed countries and some private big companies have more

advanced scientific techniques than developing countries and some small

companies but hosts are not willing to share them with the rest of the world due to

problems about the allocation of interests. Admittedly, some scientific discoveries

like atomic bombs cannot be spread to the rest of the world due to its function for

its host. Nevertheless, others beneficial to the whole world are supposed to be

shared with the rest.

I agree that some scientific discoveries can only be used by their own countries

due to their great functions and meanings. For example, some militaries are used to protect the civils from being attacked or conquered by other countries and these

scientists invent large amount of money to make researches on it. Sharing them

with others not only lose their functions but also for some private companies,

cannot bring back their costs with the cost of losing profits.

However, I have to add that some discoveries are used to make it convenient for

people to live in the world. If some discoveries are used only in some limited

number of countries or companies, this measure's disadvantages are beyond its

advantages and the discoveries' functions cannot be realized thoroughly. For

instance,  the Internet service people to exchange information with each other

more conveniently. If only few countries use them, it won't reach its maximum

influence, like contributing to the trade, exchanging of culture and so on, which

will bring about more benefits to the hosts. By transiting other countries technique

to hosts, the private companies can also cut their profits by using other

companies advanced techniques.

Above all, some scientific discoveries with specific national or companies' purposes

should be kept  in their own countries. On the contrary, others beneficial to the

whole public are supposed to be spread to other countries or private companies

because by doing so, the hosts not only benefit others, but also can get others'

discoveries more easily and conveniently.
