【新人发帖】请教PREP08第95题，答案分析看不懂……哭了

本身逻辑思维就比较紊乱
最近在苦啃逻辑
今天做到95题，看答案分析看不懂，答案是E，觉得B也可以呀，可能自己太笨了
求各位同学指点迷津

Using new detection techniques, researchers have found trace amounts of various medicinal substances in lakes and rivers. Taken in large quantities, these substances could have serious health effects, but they are present in quantities far too low to cause any physiological response in people who drink the water or bathe in it. Nevertheless, medical experts contend that eliminating these trace amounts from the water will have public health benefits, since __________.
A. some of the medicinal substances found in lakes and rivers are harmless to humans even if taken in large quantities

in my view： B的意思是说有水里一些药性物质抵消了水里另外一些物质的毒作用，因此是无害的。而最后的结论是消除这些trace amounts of medicinal substances 是有利于公众健康的，其实就是个加强题， B既然本身是无害的，那么怎么能加强呢？相反地，E却很好的加强了，因为水里本来medicinal substances 的量就少（根据后一句说far too low to……），那么可能会导致致病菌的抗药性（根据E），那么人喝下去就会得病，如果消除trace amounts of substances，那么致病菌就不会有抗药性，那么致病菌就有可能被消除？晕……怎么我也有点乱了，觉得E好像不是那么严谨呀！

LZ 我觉得B选项说的是这些物质会抵消其它的物质的害处，那么清不清除他们都一样，因为他们的害处都被抵消了，所以即使用也无害，那么清除他们也不能说带来有利因素。我不懂E选项讲的啥！

谢谢啦我昨天明白啦。按照题目的思路是它们没有害处~所以按原来的推理它们去不去除是没什么关系的。
但是专家的意思和原文推理相反~所以可以列出
因：这个XXXX因为数量少不会构成健康危害
果：因此专家认为去水里去掉它是不会有利于公众健康的
此时找削弱
要找一个导致因变化的因素，E选项说它会产生抗体，就是说变的更牛逼了呗，直接就从因上告诉我们，因为不去掉它，它会更牛逼，可能更不好去除了，所以去掉它对公众健康好
