Guide6第9页，关于判断conclusion方法的总结，Type B：Question hints at the conclusion in the argument.
给出这个例子：
A program instituted by a state government to raise money allows homeowners to prepay their future property taxes at the current rate. Even if the government were to raise the tax rate in a subsequent year, any prepaid taxes would allow the homeowner to maintain taxes at the lower rate, lowering the overall property tax burden over time. For this reason, homeowners should participate in the program.

Which of the following is an assumption that supports the indicated rationale for homeowners participating in the program?

Guide强调不用纠结提问，只关注conclusion在哪里，以下是Guide给出的解释：
The CONCLUSION of this argumemt is hinted at in the question. The word rationale points us to the final sentence: For this reason, homeowners should participate in the program. Reason and rationale are synonyms.

我的疑问是：
文中最后一句话“For this reason, homeowners should participate in the program.” 不就是conclusion吗？还跟question有什么关系呢？Guide怎么出得这么怪异啊！

最后一句话确实是conclusion，guide的解释“The CONCLUSION of this argumemt is hinted at in the question.”也是在确认同样的事情

所以，我没看懂你的疑问究竟是什么。我也没看懂“Guide强调不用纠结提问，只关注conclusion在哪里”是什么意思

先回答你第二个问题：在关于CONCLUSION的这一节中，作者说不必关注对提问的解决，我们在这一节中只对CONCLUSION进行讨论。

你的第一个问题，其实我不能接受，原因：
1、Guide给出关于CONCLUSION的判断有四种方法：the question contains the conclusion / the question hints at the conclusion in the argument / the argument contains an obvious conclusion / an alternate method
2、在给出的例子里边，最后一句话明显就是the argument contains an obvious conclusion，但，难道因为提问里边有“indicated rationale for homeowners participating in the program”，就硬要归类为“the question hints at the conclusion in the argument”？况且，我们讨论的是CONCLUSION，不是导致CONCLUSION的reasons，而提问中问的，归根结底也是REASON，难道这就叫作hint？
