okay talking about the beijing center, let me tu cao yi xia...
i was scheduled to take the GMAT in Aug last yr, an evening session. I was the first one there (arrived 2.5hrs before the exam). One of the proctors saw me and asked me to come in. She told me to go get some KFC from across the road and come back not looking like I'm about to die.... funny lady I thought..
I went back about 1.5 hrs later and the hall was pretty full. she took us inside, assigned the locker numbers and started to explain the考试规则 and so on...after 30mins of talking, she told us that they were having trouble connecting to the test bank.
why bother explaining the 规则 when the computers dont work...man
we were escorted outside again, and watied for about 2hrs. She told us that Pearson is doing everything they can but still can't get the computers back to work.
After about 3hrs, she come back with rescheduling letters from pearson vue: http://www.flickr.com/photos/91885036@N07/8348649632/in/photostream
It was 10PM @ Beijing then, 40+ of us were there. More than half were not from Beijing. after months of preparation, is this even fair to us?? lol but you gotta do what you have to do. everyone took the letter, signed the statement, took a long last glance at the test center before they started making their ways outside
They know their destinies do not end there. After this they will have to study a few more months for the GMAT, with more pressure and less time. Oh well, what can you do? If life wants to play a joke on you, you'll just have to act like a man and take the joke.
GMAT is just not a test; it's more like an experience, a journey, a memory you will remember forever....it may not be a good one, but it sure will change your life.
My rescheduled test date is Feb 9. Hopefully this one gets through smoothly.
And best wishes to all the other CDers still fighting on the battles
