正确答案: B

没有太看懂选项，it has been many years since xxxxx. 这句话的意思是说现在的情况和很多年前一样，还是说现在的情况和很多年前部一样？

这道题比较难。关键在于对B选项能不能读懂，所谓“ It has been many years since the restriction led to the hunting season for snow geese being closed earlier than the scheduled date.” 指的“不是”自限令生效许多年来捕猎季节提早结束；而指的是：自限令生效许多年来捕猎季节提早结束的这些日子已经过了很多年了，即最近这些年来捕猎季节都不会提早结束。这两个理解不同差距就大了去了。因为5%一旦达到，捕猎季节就立即结束了，所以如果最近的这些年捕猎季节都没有提早结束的话，那就说明猎人打不到5%的geese了，就算让他整个狩猎时间都打，也打不到5%，所以捕猎季节才不会提早结束。这样的话，如果政府把限令给去掉也没用，因为让猎人随便去打也打不到5%那么多，去不去对geese的数量都影响不大，所以不会影响其他的species。

it has been many years 应该是说这个事情从过去一直持续到现在啊~~~ 所以应该是“自限令生效许多年来捕猎季节提早结束的这些日子已经过了很多年了” 而且“现在也在持续着”

啊~好像是我理解错了

since作为一个时间点，说离“限令使狩猎提早结束”这个事情，已经很久了。也就是现在即使有限令，狩猎也一直持续整个时期。那么dropping 限令也是对雪鹅数量没有影响的，也就对其他物种recovery没有影响。

我觉得理解的关键在since这个词
It has been many years since the restriction...--> it is long time ago that the restriction led the hunting season finished earlier, but from that time on this restriction have never achieved this effect.

It has been many years the restriction...--> The restriction always leads the hunting finish earlier.
