Text: The word ‘highest’ may be too rigorous for a public official. Public shouldpay their attentions to the capability and boldness of politic leader not theexcoriation to them. After all, a leader is also a person, it is impossible toclaim them maintain highest ethical and moral standards. Of course, a leader who is honest and reliable would promote social welfare.For example, Washington, the founding father of the Unite State of America. He refusedecisively to serve another term of president again while the majority of publicto ask him for it. He established a Term as President System from himself. Nowthe system has worked more than 200 years. Furthermore, electors would notselect a cheater or a hypocrite as their leader. Obviously the aftermath is unpredictableif to do that. Nevertheless, if public demand their politic leader as the highestethical and moral standards, not only would distort a politic leader`s characterbut also would agitate public treat a politic leader as scathing and intolerant,it is adverse for a politic leader to bring into talents. A politic leaderwould worry that whether it goes against someone`s ethical and moral standards when make a decision. There is not anexplicit ethical and moral standard at present. ‘Moral’ is always an abstract wordfrom its appearance, moral is not like law which existed a specific rule, whichwe can do and which can not. In spite of the diversity of social that has notformed a united standard for moral. Perhaps some people consider it asreasonable but another think it is not correspondent with moral. As the casemight be immoral to require a public official to maintain the highest ethicaland moral standards. Public probably should focus on the capability and boldness of a politicleader, should be concerned with whether the politic leader will give uspeaceful, steady and beatific lives not bring us unemployed, crime and war. It ispossible for a politic leader to be overcautious and controlling with thehighest ethical and moral standards. Everyone owns a face of common, a politicleader may be a common individual who is powerful and competent and may canbring benefic lives to public.
