请问，为什么B不对呢？答案是C，但THEY这个代词不会产生一种指代不明的结果吗？？还有哦，就是E为什么错啊，谢谢大家。这个题的考点是什么呢？

B proclaiming....有修饰其前olympic world 之嫌。
c中they 优先指代离它最近的..states.
E 繁杂且句意晦涩。

该题考点主要有：
修饰的有效性
主被动语态的选择
in that/when
during/for 的选择：该题依题意for 比during 感觉要准确一些。

呵呵，能不能把题目的来源写在主题上，比如og21，或者补充材料234，语法大全sec XX, No xx

这样写题号对后来人讨论相同的题目没有帮助。

B proclaiming....有修饰其前olympic world 之嫌。
该题考点主要有：
修饰的有效性
during/for 的选择：该题依题意for 比during 感觉要准确一些。

上面是引自2楼斑竹的观点，斑竹我还不是很明白您说的，2楼的斑竹，请您再解释一下为什么就不能用PROCLAIMING修饰呢？还有DURING和FOR怎么根据句意来取舍呢？谢谢哦

3楼的小安斑竹，这个是来自XDF的网络课堂的一个题目，因为我觉得XDF这个题讲的不是很有说服力，所以贴上来大家讨论

21 题翻译成中文为：奥林匹克运动会可以使西腊各好战的洲保持和平，因为有在节日期间宣布了一个神圣的停战协定。
我并不同意本题（b) 从proclaiming.... 修饰是否有歧义之嫌入手，proclaiming ....表明了一种结果，（B)表达的意思是：奥林匹克运动会可以使西腊各好战的洲保持和平，（结果导致）在节日期间宣布了一个神圣的停战协定。这就歪曲了原句所要表达的意思。故不可取也。
  （e) world by proclamation of a sacred truce that was for the month of the festival
首先 proclamation 用得不好，这种场合下应该用proclaiming，突出动作，另外that was for the month 的用法和award, 这句可修改为：  world by proclaiming  a sacred truce  for the month of the festival
  (c) they 的指代从逻辑上看只能指代 states，无歧义。另外英语中常用when, after来表达因果关系。the best choice

温故以前的题，我发现现在分词和过去分词，一般在句子中做结果状语，或者伴随动作，所以天山说的PROCLAIMING没错哦！

ETS 偏向于concise, 例如：在ETS看来，a man who is old就是award, 简洁的说法是：an old man. 同理： that was 根本就是多余的，不如去掉，改成： world by proclaiming a sacred truce for the festival month 。

哦，谢谢天山，不简洁那个次好象写错了，AWARD是奖品的意思。
