1.Three grades of milk are 1percent, 2percent, 3percent fat by volume. If X gallons of the 1percent grade, Y gallons of the 2percent, and Z of 3percent are mix to give X+Y+Z gallons of a 1.5 percent, what is X in terms of Y and Z? 答案：Y+3Z

2. A certain city with a population of 132,000 is to be divided into 11 voting districts, and no district is to have a population that is more than 10 percent greater than the population of any other district. What is the minimum possible population that the least populated disctrict could have？答案：11,000

3. W's revenue from the sale of sofas was what percent greater this year than it was last year？
(1)W sold 10 percent more this year than last year.
(2)The selling price per sofa was $30 greater this year than last year.答案：E（why not C？）

X+2Y+3Z/X+Y+Z=3/2
你就可以推导出X=Y+3

Question2:
你设最少城市的人数为X。
X+1.1X*10≥132，000
X≥11，000
所以，X=11，000

Question3：
首先，你需要明确一个概念，revenue=price*quantity。
而题目问的是销售所得的收入增长的百分比。
（1）10 percent more 没有说明是销量的增长还是收入的增长。
（2）题目只给了单价，并没有提供沙发的销量。
所以，答案是E。
