Which kind of curriculums should be included by educators in students’ class? There are some people arguing that educators should learn from students, and offer curriculums which students welcome to the students. As far as I am concerned, by doing this students will be more willing to study, and this could also offer chances to students to develop their hobbies. However, this institution may also bring about some subjects which have no use to the students.
Above all, I think that to offer students curriculums that they like in the class could bring about more and more students to school. The reason is intelligible. For example, some students may like to study math, some of them are fond of physics, and some others like to study music, dancing, or P.E. class. If educators only offer math and physics, which they think is of most value, to the students, those who are fond of art may loose heart to study. And hobbies are surly good teachers. When students are doing what they like to do, they will more possibly focus their attention on the classes, and then do well in their works.
What’s more, to offer students different kinds of curriculums will surly widen their vision of the society. If students only take some basic subjects in the class, they will have no knowledge about other things which are crucial to make up the whole complicated society. Furthermore, different curriculums will also be useful to improve students’ function of brain. Einstein, a physical giant who is famous all of the world, was also good at playing the piano. It is physics as well as art that made him be such a smart scientist. So it may be good to take different curriculums in the class.
However, some kind of curriculums, although may be welcomed among students, could never be brought to the class, because this subjects may do harm to the students’ daily study. For example, many students are addicted to radio games, and surly they are willing to bring this kind of subject to school. But there is no possibility to do it, since the school is a place in which students must study, but not a net bar. Although this could develop students’ passion to go to school, to get this class may have no use for students’ further study. So when educators learn from students about the curriculums they like, the educators should also analyze those subjects more carefully.
So from all the arguments issued above, I could draw a conclusion that to add some subjects which are welcomed among students could bring some advantages to the education, but when doing such a job, educator should learn carefully about which subjects could be taken into class and which ones could not.
