it is unfair to say which is better than the other if we do not see both sides of story in the following paragraphs.

请问这个the the other 是对的吗？还是要改成another?

我认为这个句子改为：it is unfair to say one is better than the other .... 应该好些，the other的用法没有问题；

另：if we do not see both sides of story in the following paragraphs的表达好像不爽，如果方便的话，说说你想表达的中文意思，偶可以帮你想想如何改进一下。
