初次写,不知是否符合ETS标准,求打分和狠批!!
The lecture is discussing that the United Kingdom had a new gridline which improvedcircumstance in the field of archaeology. However, this claim is not in agreement withthe reading passage, which suggests that the country was facing serious problems in Britain . First, the lecture argues that artifacts can not be damaged due to construction.Because governments requires experts must examine these places to decide whether these places has value for archaeologist. If they find experts have interested in these places, they will limit the company to exploit them.So by doing research government can protect these artifacts to be damaged by company through building city. This direcly to contradicts what the passage indicates that digging foundations for new buildings can destroy the artifacts and lead to some valuable artifacts lost.
Moreover, the key point made by the lecture is that many archaeologist can get more financial supportfrom company;they do not need to get money from government.More importantly, they can get more money from company than government to do research. This point of view is in marked with contrast to the assertion in the reading passage that archaeologist can not excavate more valuable artifacts due to lack of fund so that they will lose many opportunies to find precious and rare projects.
Finally, the lecture hold that opinion that archaeologist have more job chances now than ever.He proves that this claim is indefensible by pointing out that more company give more salaty to employ professional archaeologist than ever.Besides, there are many process of unearthing artifacts. So company need more people to do these things. This also in direct contradiciton with the claim in the reading passage that government can not create more jobs for archaeologist and people who want to be a archaeologist have no chance and place to go. |
