RANKINGS

Recently two new rankings of the Cambridge MBA have been published. The Economist Intelligence Unit

has announced its 2006 global full-time MBA ranking. The Cambridge MBA is ranked 1st in the UK, 3rd in Europe and 11th in the world.

The Economist Intelligence Unit comments on the excellent performance of Judge
                Business
School as follows: ‘Having begun in 1990, the University of Cambridge's MBA programme might be considered something of an upstart. But it seems only a matter of time before it is routinely mentioned alongside the world's best.’

BusinessWeek

has also announced its 2006 MBA Rankings. The Cambridge MBA has been ranked 2nd in the UK and 6th in Europe.

These MBA rankings follow on the heels of a global ranking of universities published by the Times Higher Educational Supplement,

which placed the University of Cambridge 2nd in the world. The university rankings are based on a survey of 3,703 academics worldwide. They were also asked to nominate up to 30 institutions they regarded as the best at research.

Thanks for the information. Do you have any idea about the lowest GMAT score in this year in your class?

Thx a lot for the information!

I have the same concern about the GMAT score.
Besides, does Judge has any favor on candidates' working years or backgrounds?
Specifically, do they prefer more matured candidates than young but creative ones?

Looking forward to your kind reply. Thx again!

sorry, I have no idea about the lowest GMAT score. I will ask the MBA office later. BTW, I do think GMAT is a little bit important, especially to whom comes from China (almost the most competitive location) or has no other strong shining point.

If you wanna win, do your best what you can control. Just my two cents!

Yes, I am pretty busy now. Sometime it is painful to make a decision among so many urgent stuffs. Good luck to you, and hope to see you next year in UK.

Regarding the working experience, I have to say our class is diverse enough, coming from 37 countries and all kinds of industries and functions. Our average working period is 7 years, and average age is above 30. I think the main reason is that Judge is one year MBA. However, we do have several classmates, only 21~24 years old, but very smart and creative. So just go ahead.
