问个弱智的。AI题目中带转折，怎么指代原文的观点

that wear out fairly quickly wastes both natural and human resources. What they fail to see,
however, is that such manufacturing practices keep costs down for the consumer and stimulate
demand.
“人们经常抱怨产品不耐用。他们觉得生产这种非耐用品是对自然资源和人力资源
的浪费。但他们没有意识到这样的制造行为为消费者降低了成本，并且刺激了需求。”

没转折的时候我可以直接提the speaker's assertion
但是例如上题，是写I stand with this claim还是写against these people,还是要把原文复述一下

我个人理解，这里是两个观点了吧
可以先分别说people的观点啥，author的观点是啥。。
然后再说你是支持还是驳斥author吧
