C is correct, and Laywer has explained it very clearly.

what is unjustified is the classification, but not the specimen.

从样本分析出triceratops有16个species，而这16个species里有11个的样本是来自同一时期同一地区的，就是说同一时期同一地区里11个triceratops的species存在。

C中给出一个理由：同一时期同一地区不可能有三种以上类似的species同时存在。
