For each degree course successfully completed and indicated on the application form, applicants must furnish the above listed item. All copies of degree scrolls should be signed by the university’s Registrar’s Office as “Certified True Copy”. If the scroll is in a language other than English, an official translation must be included. This should be certified at a Notary Public.

这是材料checklist里关于学位证的一段话，必须要去公证处公证么？有人知道么？
