Conclusion of the passage: "scientists will not achieve goal until they produce such a machine that can move around in its environment."  Remember, "machine" is the observer here.  

B talks abut the observed objects in motion.  It is not relevant to the conclusion, because the conclusion is concerned of the observer in motion, not the observed in motion.

A offers good support to the conclusion, becuase it provides that "human beings", also observer, move around and depend on visual cues from the motion to detect spatial relations.
