急！！又发现PREP语法笔记讲解中两道矛盾题目，求牛人指指正！

Soaring television costs accounted for more than half the spending in the presidential campaign of 1992, a greater proportion than it was in any previous election.
A.   a greater proportion than it was
B.   a greater proportion than
C.   a greater proportion than they have been
D.   which is greater than was so

此题笔记中讲解说A为何错，是因为it在做指代的时候，会继承被指代对象的特性，即it 如果指代 a great proportion或者 the spending ，都继承了a great proportion或者 the spending 发生在presidential campaign of 1992的特性，造成比较的逻辑关系错误。再看下一题：

Between 1990 and 2000 the global economy grew more than it did during the 10,000 years from the beginning of agriculture to 1950.
A.   Between 1990 and 2000 the global economy grew more than it did during the 10,000 years from the beginning of agriculture
B.   Between 1990 and 2000 the growth of the global economy was more than that during 10,000 years, from when agriculture began
C.   The growth of the global economy between 1990 and 2000 exceeds that which had been for 10,000 years from the beginning of agriculture
D.   The growth of the global economy between 1990 and 2000 exceeds what it has been for 10,000 years, from when agriculture began
E.   The growth of the global economy between 1990 and 2000 exceeded what it did for the 10,000 years from the beginning of agriculture

这道题中，A是正确选项，笔记中讲解说A 中的it完全指代the global economy，并不特指1990到2000年之间的global economy.可是不是上一题中才说it是会特性指代的么，怎么又并不指代是1990到2000年之间的global economy了呢？

第一句，不补出it was，很明显就是对比in the presidential campaign of 1992和 in any previous election这两个时间定语（修饰前面的名词spending），没有歧义；

第二局，其实也可以不补出it did,但是不补出it did的话，句子的顺序最好是The global economy between 1990 and 2000 grew more than during the 10,000 years from the beginning of agriculture to 1950. 也就是把 between 1990 and 2000和during the 10,000 years from the beginning of agriculture to 1950.这两个时间状语的位置平行一下，但是由于between 1990 and 2000放在economy的后面就有变成定语（修饰economy）的嫌疑了，所以between 1990 and 2000这个时间状语最好放在句首修饰the global economy grew。于是这一题就把Between 1990 and 2000放在了句首，所以during the 10,000 years from the beginning of agriculture to 1950也就变成了状语和between 1990 and 2000平行，既然是状语那么我们最好补出it did，这样就解决了during the 10,000 years from the beginning of agriculture to 1950也有可能变成定语的歧义。

说了这么多不知道说明白没，这是我的个人见解，我看了几遍OG后发现其实时间地点状语的位置是很重要的考点，这题可能就是间接地考这个考点吧……

可是为什么比状语的时候就要补出it did,补定语的时候不需要补出来呢？

完全不懂定语,状语的猫飘过. 抛砖引玉一下..

我的复习时间比较短,所以做这种题用取巧.

第一题, than 后面跟的应该是平行的东西. it was 出现在这里和什么平行呢?
第二题,同样, than后面跟平行. 前面是economy grew. 后面跟it did. 另外我看曼哈顿说, 动词优于名词...当然不能凭这个直接就排除CDE..

定语有确定的名词与之对应，所以可以省略，状语则需要两个动作，所以不能省略

同纠结第一个题,一会儿想明白,再想想又不明白了.....
就说B的省略是对的，那错的也得有个理由。我想知道A错哪里了？

啊啊啊啊!翻了下,在别处看到一个解释, a greater proportion (in the presidential campaign of 1992) than it was (in any previous election) 这样的话, A就明显不平行了，如果只补出it可能是对的。
我觉得这个错误应该是做多了要有动词才对称的题......惯性了唉呦。。。

此类题目，如果到了考场上，有多少人能够静下心来分析it指代是否继承被指代的特性？
平时做的时候可以这么分析，真正到了考场上，都是凭平时积累的对正确答案的感觉做下意识的判断。
而且关于第一题的A选项，我看到的时候根本就没去想it是否继承被指代的特性这个问题
只需要看到 than后面一个in any previous election, than前面有一个in the presidential campaign of 1992，比较的就是这两者，直接就是B嘛，一点歧义也没有。
如果真要问A错在哪里，这里用it was本身就是错的。than的前后两者要平行，如果than后面加了was，那么than前面要找个be动词出来，找得到么？
