SC JJ 关于works的问题请教一下各位

1、有一题很简单,就一个考点both ...and的平行,就一个考点.我选的选项含有both in the number of women and in the amount of their works.有一个迷惑选项是both in the number of women and in the number of their works   (by tcz2515)
请教一下各位,works不是可数的吗?我怎么觉得both in the number of women and in the number of their works 才是正确的呢?

听上去是挺怪的。但是我觉得是这样。很多时候还是看给出的信息为准。既然题里把work加复数了。证明它就是可数的。 不然就应该是the amount of work。 number of works 可能是说好几种不同类型的工作。

works 当“著作,作品”讲的时候,是可数名词。当工作讲是不可数名词。

an amount of / a number of 表示很多,前者修饰不可数名词,后者修饰可数名词

the amount of / the number of 表示某样东西的数量,前者修饰不可数名词,后者修饰可数名词

楼主同学提供的很详细啊,看来这题还得看原文的逻辑到底这个works具体是指哪个意思了~
