The increasingly widespread practice of recycling aluminum and glass was responsible for most of this decline. However, although aluminum recycling was more widely practiced in this period than glass recycling, it was found that the weight of glass bottles in household garbage declined by a greater percentage than the weight of aluminum cans.

答案是C。B为什么不对？C怎么推出来的文章说glass bottles重量下降百分比大于aluminum cans，C中plastic container文章没出现过，无关选项？而且如果替换成plastic containers跟glass bottle就没关系了

替换成plastic containers了所以glass bottle减少了所以有关

文章中的线索是：garbage 的持续减小原因是由于beverage containers
因为beverage containers现在能回收了，所以总的garbage steadily减小
而答案B能推出什么呢？知道了 A cans基本都变成了beverage containers，而recycled的Glass 确不仅仅装beverage。那么glass在garbage中下降的比率应该低才是啊，因为如果是装饮料，那就能无限的循环下去，就相当于没有这个垃圾，但是如果装的不是饮料，就造成了垃圾。怎么可能glass很大一部分不装饮料，而产生的glass垃圾却下降的幅度更大呢？所以B没有解释原文，反而给出了更加让人感到困惑的理由。
