请教ziye姐姐，关于financial form

form上有一句话，All documentation must be dated within one year of the date of initial enrollment at the University at Buffalo and translated into U.S. dollars.
这句话的意思是存款要在今年九月之后存进去？然后还得换算成美元？
但是有两个问题，一，如果是九月之后存进去，不合逻辑，存款按道理说，是应该存的越久越好，二，中国的银行开出的存款证明都是人民币记值的，不可能换算成美元
请问，ziye姐姐，这究竟应该怎么理解啊？

If you apply for 2012 fall, then your initial enrollment time should be around late August, 2012. As long as your financial statement is between September 2011 to August 2012, it will be fine.

If your original financial statement displays RMB, you can simply mark with $ on it and fill in the international financial statement form with $, which can be downloaded from UB SOM website and be uploaded or emailed to Jennifer.

真囧。资产证明开到2012年7月上旬可以嘛。。。因为是今年7月做的一年定存。当时想都没想就直接开到明年7月了。昨天都把材料寄出去了的说。。。不仅对于ub，其它学校也是这个要求。不知道可不可以啊。。。
