Codex Berinensis, a Florentine copy of an ancient Roman medical treatise, is undated but contains clues to when it was produced. Its first 80 pages are by a single copyist, but the remaining 20 pages are by three different copyist, which indicates some significant disruption. Since a letter in handwriting identified as that of the fourth copyist mentions a plague that killed many people in Florence in 1148, Codex Berinensis was probably produced in that year.

因为红色部分说明disruption D选项排除了plague重复出现的可能性，所以只有1148那年有plague，那么Codex Berinensis才会断断续续由4个人完成。不知道我理解的对不对哈~

It basically hints that all the copyist died except the last one. And if there was only one such fatal plague, then most likely these copyist died in the same year of the plague.

可是我主要是觉得如果之后发生过PLAGUE只是没有记录然后才PRODUCE得也是可以的吧。。感觉不是necessary condition 感觉把自己已经绕进去了。。。不过谢谢同学啊~

恩有道理~可是我还是觉得这个不能成为一个必要条件让这个copy produced in 1148.。。。如果之后发生了plague 那个人也可以是没有记录或者是两次发生plague的时间中produce了这本书吧？

我感觉你是再纠结那个不一定就发生在1148年是不？题中说了coypist提到了1148的plague D选项说在1100s就只有一次plague 两个一结合就肯定说plague发生在1148了是不是就strongly support了？我是这么理解的
