咨询转corp m&a以后的发展如何

各位CDer，
我目前在一家top consulting工作近两年的。最近手上有个corporate机会，美资公司做M&A。觉得咨询虽然exposure 很好，但life style太差，而且公司里也有些没能力却很会耍手段的人，做得挺郁闷。

其实更想去国有PE。不是跟风，国有PE是一个性价比很高的地方。比外资稳定，钱少但生活好。也更容易拿到国内的好项目。但现在我的背景比较难跳过去。我在接触的那个corporate老板也跟我说，在industry做两年也是很好的经历。对于申请学校来说，整个package会更丰富。如果以后要去PE，在corporate学学怎么做deal也挺好。

不知各位有何高见？

once in corporate, it's really to jump back to consulting

how about stay in consulting for another year, go to b-school and come back to work for local PE?

Its not about where you are, its what you do in your organization that determines your application, whatever that organization is.

that's just my own opinion, 不要拍砖哦：when you are in consulting, you always have the option to jump to corporate, from the lowest business analyst/ associate/ associate consultant level to partner level... you can always go to corporate
But the level of contribution is SIGNIFICANTLY different, that's why i don't think you should join corporate now, especially if you only plan to join the corporate world for 1-2 years...

on the other side, if you are joining a really small company for their marketing director role or coo role, then, that's another story...
