What does the innovative idea come from? As the old saying goes, we are not lack of beauty but eyes for beauty. Similarly, someone may claim that best idea comes from our interest in commonplace things if we have clairvoyant insight to discover it. However, I suppose that not only commonplace things but also novel things can inspire our great idea.
Admittedly, human histories have witnessed numerous innovative ideas popping up from daily objects. By modeling after the way eagle flies in the sky, we took great interest in it and the invention of plane refreshed our eyes. By modeling the bat’s radio wave, we developed devices to tell people the accurate position under the water or the ground . Similarly like the beauty existing everywhere, all the commonplace thing in nature are as sophisticated as they inherently are so that their hidden secrets sparks our innovation once we take interest in them.
However, not all the innovative or the best idea comes from just ordinary things once we put interest in them. From my perspective, the best idea is the combination of both observation and pre-knowledge about the object. Supposed that Nuton hadn’t equipped himself with recondite knowledge of physic , he couldn’t come up with the Gravitational Law even thousands of apples falling on his head. Without doubt , hardly can we except a uneducated child to arise up a amazing idea to propel certain field forwards just for his interest in common things. Therefore , sufficient knowledge about our surroundings is the prerequisite for us to hold possibility to spark our innovation. Then just knowledge is far from enough for the born of a best idea. Only when we pay enough observation to the things we are interested in and have strong cravings to unfold its mask ,can we get great inspiration from them. Without enough observation , what seems to us in our daily life is just as ordinary as what air to us human beings. Furthermore, not only common things but also special things can give us great ideas. When observing the special starts appearing in the sky every certain years, scientists discovered the function for starts’ operation and vindicated the function in other starts. Therefore , some special phenomenon can be conducive for us to get great idea .
In retrospect, innovation idea is derived from combination of pre-knowledge ,meticulous observation and passionate interest in the object surrounding us regardless of whether the object is common or not.
