It is a correct answer from GWD3 .40 "c.The group of inmates who chose to take college-level courses were not already less likely than other inmates to commit crimes after being released." Actually, I know it means: the group of inmates who chose to take college-level courses were more tend to or no more difference than other inmates to commit crimes, however, "after bein released" makes me confused about the orginal meaning of this sentence, it seems like that "the group of inmates who chose to take college-level courses now are more likely to commit crime than other after they are released."

I must twisted the meaning of sentence, but i think what i thought is also correct......confusing... does anyone can help me ?/????

The way you think is too much. How possible could that be a prisoner commit a crime when he/she is in the jail?
