2.In the years since the city of London imposed strict air-pollution regulations on local industry, the number of bird species seen in and around London has increased dramatically. Similar air-pollution rules should be imposed in other major cities.
Each of the following is an assumption made in the argument above EXCEPT:
(A) In most major cities, air-pollution problems are caused almost entirely by local industry.

(E) The increased sightings of bird species in and around London reflect an actual increase in the number of species in the area.
答案是A，我选了E。为什么A对，我理解题目说since the city of London imposed strict air-pollution regulations on local industry，所以肯定有A丫。不能排除啊。

我是这么理解的，E选项不能排除因为THE BIRD SEEN AROUND只能代表是景观鸟不具有代表性，E选项更加全面你可以取非看下，发现取非后的E是削弱结论的，所以是对的。而A选项我觉得错在MOST上，而题目是其他主要城市，MOST其实在某种意义上削弱了
