答案是B吗？我觉得C是一个加强的答案，Paper manufacturers in Japan and Western Europe would 不需要prefer to use wood pulp produced in the United States，只要一视同仁就好，不需有偏好。给B取非，直接weaken 原文。C取非，只是不偏好，有可能是很客观，也可能是讨厌，有多种结果。

假设是一个必要条件，取非后结论会不成立，C取非后不一定weaken结论。所以c 不是假设
