Lawmaker: Raising taxesis not the only means of reducing government debt. The government’s stockpileof helium is worth 25 percent more, at current market prices, than the debtaccumulated in acquiring and storing it. Therefore, by selling the helium, thegovernment can not only pay off that debt but reduce its overall debt as well.
Which of the followingis an assumption on which the argument depends?
A. The government has no current need for helium.
B. Twenty-five percent of the debt the government hasaccumulated in stockpiling helium is not an insignificant portion of thegovernment’s total debt.

答案是d 可是为什么我算了一下应该是more than 20%才可以呢…………

设a是现在的h的价格
b是the debtaccumulated in acquiring and storing it
a'是d答案降价之后的h价格
r是下降率（也就是d说的25%）

那么 a=（1+25%）b
a'=a（1-r）
要使a'>b
a(1-r)>b
(1-r)(1+25)b>b
r<20%

>...<这样错了么…………我算了一下觉得不对所以选了A
也请教A为什么不可以…………

5.考试时时间很短,所以不可能很细计算,意味着出题人不会考细的东西,只会考大方向.所以不可能答案错在小计算上 lawyer

这是前辈说的话呃还是有点纠结考试遇到这样的计算可以忽略掉么
