0728 逻辑题

有两个选项很模糊，A xxxx B...despite its being+两个形容词和despite being+两个形容词，A是个单数，B也单数，逻辑上，being应该修饰B，感觉being有修饰A的歧义，单数its也可能有歧义，而且its being只见过一个例子，还是逻辑题上的，其余三个也不对，就选了后者。。。

题目：The committees had recommeneded a _________________ being expensive.
A large amount of big changes in the anti-inflammtery agent...., despite
B large number of big changes in the anti-inflammtery agent...., despite its
C large amount of change in the anti-inflammtery agent...., despite
D large amount of change in the anti-inflammtery agent...., though

请问应该选哪个啊？没听懂上面的解释。。。。。
