请教一下各位the harvesting 属于动名词吗，如果是的话那就是说平行结构中名词可以与动名平行？如果the harvesting 不属于动名词，那么The +V-ing就是属于名词？麻烦各位大虾帮帮忙，详解一下！

我是这么想的···你看这题就是典型的平行结构，based on后面的东西跟最后and后面的结构要平行···我理解的中间那个the harvesting···是插入语结构··对不对就不晓得了···

GMAT里面一般认为the V-ing 可以和名词平行的，但是一定要有the，否则还是视为动词的形式
